Who teaches the classes?
Students work with Patrick Echausse and Laurence Mechanic, two of New York’s premier TACHS exam experts, to dive into a TACHS exam, ensuring that students are 100% ready to excel on their exam the next day.
Laurence has over 20 years of experience as an English teacher.
Over the course of his career, he has worked with thousands of students and has become a test prep specialist.
He believes that all students are capable of reaching their potential with the right guidance, and there is nothing he loves more than providing that guidance.
Patrick is a veteran math teacher with over 30 years of experience.
He specializes in math test prep that allows students to excel on their exams, using a spiraling method to reinforce the concepts.
He is extremely patient and creative and knows that all of his students can accomplish their goals.
What is covered during the Study with a Teacher Night Review?
During this review class, Patrick and Laurence:
- take students through a modified TACHS Exam that addresses all the parts of the test.
- answer all questions, big and small
- guide students through the timing of the test
- teach unique strategies, tips, and tricks

- In-person seating is extremely limited. Due to the popularity of this event, we operate on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once all seats have been taken, we have to close the in-person version of the class.
- All materials are included.
- We mirror our iPads which means that our students at home see exactly what our students in person see. Online students can only see the projected materials and the teacher. This helps to minimize distractions.
