The first six classes will be held on Mondays.
Then, we will hold our seventh class on Wednesday, April 17th, and our eighth class on Wednesday, May 1st. 

We utilize a hybrid learning environment. 

All classes are held in person at Long Island University and are live streamed to our students who are attending from home. 
The classes are fully interactive for all, so where you choose to attend from is completely up to you. 

Homework Policy: Students receive weekly assignments are expected to complete and submit all assignments. 
Students scores are directly related to the effort they put in.

Presentation: Our screens are mirrored to the our students' screens and all students have their cameras off. So, students see us and our screens only. This limits distractions and creates the feel of one-on-one tutoring. Classes are fully interactive and highly engaging.

We include recordings of all classes, hours of videos, and work live with students for two hours each week.

Laurence Mechanic - 
Head English SAT Instructor
I am a 20-year-veteran English teacher and SAT tutor who is passionate about teaching and dedicated to providing the best to all my students.

I have a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in English, as well as an Educational Leadership degree.

When it comes to test prep, I use my mastery of test taking strategies, patience, experience, and expertise to help my students succeed. Since each student has different needs, I individualize my instruction and approach for all students. By doing so, I not only build students' fundamentals but help them understand how to "beat the test."

I enjoy helping students reach their potential with the right mix of motivation and tutelage. I work hard to make my classes and tutoring sessions fun and interesting while showing students how they can conquer the SAT, ACT, and anything else English-related.

Patrick Echausse - 
Head Math SAT Instructor
I have taught math for 30 years and have been named to the Who’s Who List of Teachers three times. I received my undergraduate degree from Manhattan College and my master’s from Fordham University. 

Over the last 30 years, I have taught all levels of mathematics, including Pre-Calculus and College Statistics through Adelphi University. 

I am a big believer in teaching key skills solely found on the SAT and ACT and spiraling these skills over the course of multiple lessons and classes. I am extremely dedicated to teaching students how to excel in all types of math and I go above and beyond in everything I do.

In Laurence's eBook Setting Yourself Up for Success: A Guide to Help You Make the Best Decisions about the SAT, ACT, and College Admissions Process, he details what goes into the college admissions process. Remarkably, the SAT counts for about the same as a student's grades from all of high school! So, the SAT is very, very important, and preparing for the test is even more important.

Traditionally, preparing for tests like the SAT allows us to fill in the gaps in reading, grammar, writing, and math. This allows for students to learn and improve upon many of the things they never learned in school. So, students learn much more than just a way to increase their SAT scores.

However, students are now in even greater need of experts to help them because they have not had a true high school experience. 

Most students are never taught grammar in school to the level they need for the SAT. Now, there are many more gaps to be filled in on the English side of the test.
