COOP Exam Prep Classes

Work with two of the top tutors in the country in the comfort of your own home to ensure that your child not only masters the material but can excel on the COOP exam.

Dear Parents,

I am a Catholic who has sent his three kids to Catholic High Schools, so I understand the sacrifice that parents must make to give the best to their kids. As my children have benefitted greatly from the unique educational and religious experience that these schools provide and are now going on to college, I have made a promise to myself to provide your children with the best prep to succeed on the Catholic High School Entrance Exam, so they can have the same experience and benefits as well.

I also promise to give something back to Catholic schools and charities. A portion of the proceeds of this program will be donated to Catholic elementary schools and other charities.

If at anytime you have any questions, please reach out to me at (516) 302-5608.

Sincerely,

Patrick Echausse

What is the focus of your COOP Exam Prep Classes?

The goal of our Catholic High School entrance exam prep courses are to ready students for the pressure of the exam. As test prep specialists with a combined 50 years of experience, we know that students at this age need more than just standard prep. As a result, we focus on fundamentals as we infuse test-taking strategies and techniques into the lessons.

The 5 major aspects that drive our instruction and prepare our students for COOP success are:

  1. How to read properly for tests
  2. The foundations of English grammar and language
  3. Mathematic skills at the core of the test
  4. Test-taking tips, study skills, and reasoning techniques
  5. Time-management, pressure-management, and confidence-management

Who Teaches the COOP Exam Prep Class?

At the foundation of Precision Test Prep are two teachers with 50 years of combined experience both in the classroom and in private and review class settings. Laurence is an English teacher who is currently the 8th Grade Team Leader at his school, and Patrick is a high school math teacher.

This makes a tremendous difference because the COOP is a standardized test. Patrick and Laurence have years of experience helping students beat the SAT and ACT. They take this knowledge and use it to give their COOP prep class students an advantage over others prepping by themselves or with less-qualified teachers.

Patrick and Laurence are experts in the field of test prep and routinely help students excel on tests such as the SAT, ACT, HSPT, COOP, SSAT, SSHAT, and more. In addition, Patrick and Laurence utilize Zoom differently from other teachers: Patrick recreates the feel of a classroom with whiteboard and Laurence projects the material directly onto the student’s screen. Because students can only see Patrick and Laurence, they report increased comprehension during the lessons.

What Materials are Required?

ALL materials are included in the COOP exam prep class price. We email materials weekly and require students to submit their answers. We use the results to tailor the material to the students in the class. As a result, our COOP exam prep classes feel like private tutoring.

What Does a COOP Exam Prep Class on Zoom Feel Like?

Our goal is ensure that students learn everything needed for success the COOP exam. As a result, we have tailored Zoom to mimic a one-on-one private tutoring session. Students can only see the teacher and the teacher’s board/computer screen. Students can’t see each other, and they speak with each other. They can only speak with the Patrick and Laurence.

Students have reported that our classes make them more comfortable because they aren’t afraid to ask questions the way they would be in a regular class. This is important because student-teacher interaction is paramount.
