Dear Parents,
I am a Catholic who has sent his three kids to Catholic high schools, so I understand the sacrifice that parents must make to give the best to their kids. As my children have benefitted greatly from the unique educational and religious experience that these schools provide and are now going on to college, I have made a promise to myself to provide your children with the best prep to succeed on the TACHS exam, so they can have the same experience and benefits as well.
I also promise to give something back to Catholic schools and charities. A portion of the proceeds of this program will be donated to Catholic elementary schools and other charities.
If at anytime you have any questions, please reach out to me at (516) 302-5608.
Sincerely,
Patrick Echausse

The goal of this course is to ready students for the pressure of the exam. As test prep specialists with a combined 50 years of experience, we know that students at this age need more than just standard prep. As a result, we focus on fundamentals as we infuse test-taking strategies and techniques into the lessons.
The 5 major aspects that drive our instruction and prepare our students for TACHS success are:
Thirty-five year veteran math Patrick Echausse covers everything math on the TACHS exam, while twenty year veteran English teacher Laurence Mechanic covers everything reading and grammar.
Patrick and Laurence are experts in the field of test prep and routinely help students excel on tests such as the SAT, ACT, HSPT, COOP, SSAT, SSHAT, and more. In addition, Patrick and Laurence utilize Zoom effectively. Because students can only see Patrick and Laurence, they report increased comprehension during the lessons and fewer distractions, all while being part of a larger class.
The price of our TACHS exam prep class includes ALL materials. We host all materials on a Google Classroom and require students to submit the answers to their homework and tests. We use the results to tailor the material to the students in the class. As a result, our TACHS exam prep classes feel like private tutoring.
Our goal is ensure that students learn everything needed for success the TACHS exam. As a result, we have tailored Zoom to mimic a one-on-one private tutoring session. Students can only see the teacher and the teacher’s board/computer screen. Students can’t see each other, but they speak with with Patrick and Laurence to ask questions and interact.
Students have reported that our classes make them more comfortable because they aren’t afraid to ask questions the way they would be in a regular class. This is important because student-teacher interaction is paramount.
The TACHS exam is a test given to students looking to apply to Catholic High Schools in the New York City area and Long Island. So, if you live in Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, the Bronx, Staten Island; Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Putnman, Ulster, Sullivan, or Orange Counties; or Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island, the TACHS exam is the test students will take.
Our TACHS exam prep courses are perfect because students will still receive the same level of instruction that we have always provided without having to travel. It really is a win-win. For those who know how to use Zoom and technology, there is no real difference between being in class or attending remotely.
