The goal of this course is simple: to ready students to excel on the SHSAT despite the pressure of the exam.

Who Teaches the SHSAT Exam Prep Class?

Thirty year veteran math Patrick Echausse covers everything math on the SHSAT exam, while twenty year veteran English teacher Laurence Mechanic covers everything English-based.

Patrick and Laurence are experts in the field of test prep and routinely help students excel on tests such as the SAT, ACT, TACHS, HSPT, COOP, SSAT, SSHAT, and more.

In addition, Patrick and Laurence utilize Zoom effectively. Because students can only see Patrick and Laurence, they report increased comprehension during the lessons and fewer distractions, all while being part of a larger class.

What Does a SHSAT Exam Prep Class on Zoom Feel Like?

Our goal is ensure that students learn everything needed for success the SHSAT exam. As a result, we have tailored Zoom to mimic our one-on-one private tutoring sessions. Students can only see the teacher and the teacher’s board/computer screen. Students can’t see each other, but they speak with with Patrick and Laurence to ask questions and interact.

Students have reported that our classes make them more comfortable because they aren’t afraid to ask questions the way they would be in a regular class. This is important because student-teacher interaction is paramount.

What SHSAT Materials are Included?

The price of our SHSAT prep class includes ALL materials. We host all materials on a Google Classroom and require students to submit the answers to their homework and tests. We use the results to tailor the material to the students in the class. As a result, our SHSAT exam prep classes feel like private tutoring.

What is Included with the Bonus Materials Option?

In addition to everything that comes with the standard option, the bonus materials option includes access to our SHSAT Video Program and the recordings of the class.

Our SHSAT Video Program alone can help students acheive mastery on the SHSAT. These easy to watch videos reinforce key concepts and allow for the learning to continue at all times.

The class recordings are extremely valuable because students can review key parts of the lesson on their own time. In addition, if a student can’t make it to a class, he or she can watch the recording the next day.
