A targeted AP Lang review is like a year’s worth of studying in one class.
Students in this review are part of our 5 hour AP English Language review class but leave after 3 hours. (Students are always able extend their time if they want.)
In order to make this review as effective as possible, we contact each student to learn what he or she wants more review in. This information is given to the teacher, who constructs the review to address what the students want within the first hour.
This means that our 3 hour students are guaranteed to review everything they want the most review in. The remainder of the review focuses on the rest of the curriculum, test-taking techniques, and more. By “targeting” our review, we are able to create a more engaging experience for our students.
Plus, students have access to the AP English Language and Composition Google Classroom so they can continue to study before the test.
