Learn how to beat the ACT English, Reading, and Science Sections from the comfort of your home!
This ACT skills course covers the ACT English Section, Reading Section, and Science Section. Students will also learn how to write the optional essay in the Essay Section using Laurence’s easy to remember formula.
The ACT English, Reading, and Science Sections are all linked.
While the ACT is broken into four major components plus an optional essay, the English, Reading, and Science Sections are all “English class based.”
And that’s where the problem is.
Unfortunately, the ACT requires a solid knowledge or grammar, reading comprehension, and test-taking skills. In the vast majority of English classes, these skills are not taught. Students are guaranteed to learn grammar. Students are also guaranteed to learn how to read for comprehension, which is completely different from reading. In addition, students are guaranteed to learn invaluable test-taking techniques, something that will serve them for years to come. Our classes cover exactly what students need to know for the ACT and beyond.
Over the years, our students have excelled on the ACT because we know how to teach to the students. We believe in personalizing each lesson to the students in the room, so each class has its own feel and unique dynamic. We work to make each session as close to a personal tutoring session as possible.
Students learn study skills, and you will know how your kids are doing.
Part of our philosophy is creating a team that consists of the teacher, the student, and the parents. This triangle ensures that students stay on track and progress far past where they started. Students learn how to reflect on their answer choices and develop study skills. We share these findings with you, and use these findings to drive our classes.
Just because we’re not physically there doesn’t mean we’re not there every step of the way.
Our livestream ACT classes are no different than our regular classes. The same material is covered, and the same level of dedication is given to ensure that our students reach their potential.
