Frequently Asked Questions
While it may seem that an 6, 7, or 8 hour AP review would cover more and therefore prepare students more thoroughly, it is important that we remember who will be taking the review: teenagers. Adults can sit for much, much longer than teenagers can. There is a point in which teenagers tune out, and once they have tuned out, they are not tuning back in.
In order to “target” our AP reviews, we contact every student to learn what he or she wants more review in. Using this information, our AP teachers construct a review that targets these topics early. Students have the most energy at the beginning of the review, so we ensure that what our students want more review in is reviewed at the start of the class. If not, students are likely reviewing what they already know, and while that is helpful, we don’t want our students wondering, “When will my questions be answered?” We want our students relaxed and focused, so when it is time to review the other material, they can focus even more.
By targeting our AP reviews, we have been better able to reach our students and help them score higher.
No. All materials are projected to a computer, which is projected on Zoom. So, students who are taking our AP reviews are taking part in our classes live, in real time. Students can ask questions and directly interact with our AP teachers. We are confident that the way we present the material makes our classes feel like private tutoring.
Additionally, we employ the best, most creative AP teachers around. So, aside from actually going to Dominican University in Orangeburg, NY, there is no difference between our online AP Review Classes and our in-person AP Review Classes.
In the end, it all depends on how students learn, prefer to learn, and want to experience our AP Review Classes. We try to be as convenient as convenient gets. All students have a perfect view of the board or the AP teacher’s screen and the AP teacher him or herself.
Our AP Review Classes are 5 hours long with an option for a shorter, 3 hour class. Our AP teachers always move at a pace that allows them to cover everything and fully review the material while providing students with the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the teacher.
We are not in the business of charging for wasted time; we believe in offering the best AP Review Classes in the country and that means that we focus the beginning of our reviews on what students want to review first. After enrollment, we will send you a Google Form that allows the student to request his or her top 3 areas for review. We relay this to the teacher who then covers it in the beginning of class.
We trust our AP review teachers to provide the best review because we want to make sure that students are prepared. There is little chance that a student can spend 6-8 hours in a class or Zoom meeting and pay attention. Our unique philosophy of covering what students want first helps to create the best reviews.

What Are the Benefits of One Day AP Reviews?
Most colleges only give credit for AP scores higher than a 4. To say the least, that’s tough to do. You don’t want to sit through an entire AP course only to not receive credit because you didn’t score high enough on the AP test.
That’s where our AP Review Classes near Bergen County, Rockland County, and Westchester County come in. When you prep with us, you are going to get a 4 or higher because we show you what you need to know and how to take each test.
As per our philosophy, we only employ the BEST teachers to work with our clients. Our AP Review Classes in Rockland County and on Zoom are taught by expert AP teachers who are not only knowledgeable, experienced, kind, and creative, but who are considered by their principals and chairpeople to be outstanding AP educators.
When you prep with Precision, you prep with the best.
When it comes to reviewing for an AP test, confidence is absolutely key. Without confidence, scoring higher than a 3 is extremely difficult.
That’s why we contact our students before each review asking what three topics or concepts are causing the most trouble. We use this information to create the curriculum for each individual class. This allows our AP Review Class instructors to reach each student on a deeper level and establish the foundation of confidence needed to fully conquer any AP test.
Perhaps the most valuable part of our Northern New Jersey AP Review Class program is our desire to reach each student as if he or she is the only student in the room. We do everything we can to simulate private-tutoring in the classroom setting. As a result, our AP review classes are regarded as more than just extremely educational; they are fun, energetic, and inspirational.
Common interests. Common tests. Common goals.
Our AP Review Classes are open to all in a warm, friendly environment. We are conveniently located at Dominican University in Orangeburg, NY, so students are provided with the opportunity to meet lots of new people with similar interests and goals. We love that in the past many students recruit friends to review with, but we also love how friendly, kind, and welcoming all of our students have been to those who come alone. More often than not, students leave having met at least one other new friend!
We offer the complete package: in-depth AP review near you for the test of your choice plus intense focus on test taking skills. We learned the art of tutoring by tutoring for the SAT and ACT. We’ve taken what we’ve learned and have infused it into the core of each AP Review Class.
We have studied every AP test going back to the beginning to look for patterns. Since the College Board makes both the SAT and the AP tests, we weren’t surprised that the multiple choice sections on each AP test could be taken advantage of the same way as with the SAT. So, as an added bonus, we spend a lot of time during our AP Review Classes near New Jersey focusing on effective test-taking skills for each test. We are not simply about reviewing; we want our students to get perfect scores.
Our motto is “Better Teachers. Better Value. Better Results.” These are the pillars of our business, and we take each of these pillars very seriously. As a result, our AP Review Classes in Rockland County, Westchester County, and Bergen County offer the most value of any review in the country. We contact every single parent/student prior to each review to learn what the student needs extra review in. As a result, our reviews are customized to meet the individual needs of the students in the classroom. This approach is unique. We strive to provide the highest level of customer service in the business, and this extends to the experience inside the classroom.
Firstly, we are parents. Secondly, we are teachers.
We have lots of experience working with kids of all ages. As a result, we have a great grasp of not only what makes for a good AP review class but what kids can realistically handle. This goes for the length of time a teenager can sit and stay motivated to learn. The last thing a parent wants is to spend money only to hear that the child zoned out after a length of time. Our job is to help kids maximize their AP scores. So, we have created our AP Review Classes program with this in mind and offer classes that are much more targeted and filled with strategic breaks.
At the end of our AP Review Classes, we ask our students to take a very short survey. This survey asks students to rate the review and the teacher, while providing feedback to help us continue to perfect our AP Review Classes.
Without this valuable feedback, we would just be another review. Instead, we look forward to reading each and every review so that we can continue to make our AP Review Classes in Rockland County a better place for all of our students.
Every other AP review class makes you pack a bagged lunch or provide money to buy lunch. But what if you forget to pack lunch, give money, or the cafeteria is closed? Your child goes without eating?
We know the importance of keeping our students fed, hydrated, and happy. Our AP Review Classes provide an all inclusive service to our in-person students which includes lunch and drinks at no additional cost.
This little gesture helps to make us unique while ensuring that our students are happy, motivated, and engaged.
Any AP review class is only as good as the teacher in the room. While our reviews are a manageable three or five hours, we spend months recruiting and interviewing AP teachers in a quest to find the best of the best.
We speak with principals, parents, students, and chairpeople to ensure ourselves that our AP Review Classes on Rockland County have the highest quality AP teachers leading our students to a 5.
Our goal is to provide our students with the best possible reviews in the Rockland County, Bergen County, and Westchester County area. This includes access to the best teachers.
